SolidWorks® Sheet Metal Module
This lesson will show how sheet metal
parts can be created and used. Models created from scratch
using a Base Flange, Edge
Flange, Miter Flange and Tabs
will be explored as well as importing geometry from IGES and
converting it to a SolidWorks
sheet metal part using Insert Bends
and Rips.
The creation of in-context
sheet metal parts will be demonstrated. A sheet metal enclosure will
be created using an existing hard disk drive assembly.
